One creator almost lost their 500k subs channel.
Here's exactly how it works:
1. You get email from "no-reply@youtube"
2. Links to private video from "YouTube Creators"
3. Video tells you to check description

I know several people who follow me also have YouTube channels. This is an email I just got…and it’s a SCAM / PHISHING ATTEMPT. You’ll see it comes from [email protected] - but just delete it. It’s fake. Nuke it from orbit. YouTube confirmed the scam here: @TeamYouTube 👍

Hello @YouTubeCreators I just got a highly suspect email of a (I'm pretty sure) deepfaked video asking content creators to "click on a link and put in code" to comply with monetization updates. Very convincing scam if not for the fact the channel name is spelled wrong.
